We are seeking a quiet non smoking sitter who would be interested in spending a week in a Southwestern Ontario village.
We have two indoor cats and one outdoor cat who lives in our garage.(Sometimes there is a 2nd one, who has a home down the street but prefers our food.)
The main reason we are looking for a housesitter is because one of the indoor cats became very angry with us for leaving him for a week while we went on vacation and proceeded to pee in every boot/shoe tray in the house - despite there being someone who came by everyday to check on him.
We are thinking that if someone is home with him all (or most) of the time, maybe that will pacify him.
Our village is not accessible by public transit, but we are able to pick you up/drop off at the nearest airport in London, Ontario or train station in Glencoe, Ontario. We do not have a vehicle available for your use. If you do provide your own vehicle, there are several urban centres (London, Chatham, St Thomas) within a 40 min drive. If the rural scene is more to your liking, there are many parks and conservation areas within a 25 min drive.
A grocery store, pharmacy, hardware store, public library, coffee shops, bank, and salons are within less than a minute walk from our house. A hiking/biking trail is located outside our door. Two bicycles are available for your use.
We do not have cable or satellite, but you can stream to the Chromecast with your /tablet/laptop via the wifi. All appliances are available for your use.
