We are looking for an honest, reliable, easy going house sitter/s to enjoy our peaceful, private 100 acre bush property 40 minutes north of Newcastle, NSW.
We are seeking short term sitters for approximately 8 days from the 6th - 13th June.
Our main priority is care for our friendly, 10 y.o. border collie x (dinner and a short evening walk) and twice daily feeding of our very old horse, Dave. The 3 horses are well behaved, however, previous experience around horses would be beneficial.
Our 3 bedroom / 2 bathroom house is light filled, airy, comfortable and has extensive views over surrounding hills and bushland. Woodfire and gas heating. Bird life and native animals are a feature.
You will have plenty of free time to explore the area or just relax on the deck. The beautiful beaches and water ways of Hawks Nest / Tea Gardens and the Myall Lakes are an easy half hour drive away.
50 minutes to Nelson Bay. Wineries of the Hunter Valley and the delights of the Barrington Tops region are also easily accessible for day trips. 15 minutes drive to nearest shops.
