We are looking for someone, preferably a couple, to care for and enjoy our home mid-September to mid-October, 2020. The house is a modest "mid-century modern" red-brick three miles east of the University of Arizona. There would be no pet care and a small amount of watering.
It is still warm during the early autumn in Tucson, and the A/C will take good care of you.
We are a female couple of retired educators. While this and our progressive politics should not matter in a "sitting" arrangement, we would want for you to be comfortable with these facts of our lives and of our yard sign in support of immigrants.
Our home is filled with good art and books, two bedrooms/two baths available, eat-in and well-equipped kitchen, plus dining room, comfy living room, WiFi, smart TV, Netflix, Amazon Prime, and more. A small well-behaved dog could come with you and spend time in our fenced back yard as needed. We would need a photo and info about the dog. A barking dog in the backyard would earn bad reviews.
We would prefer that you bring your own car. Tucson has bus lines, but they are inconvenient and you need a car to get to nearby Trader Joe's, Sprouts Market, Target, or a Kroger-branded market.
We have nice neighbors who'd help with any situation or answer questions about the neighborhood.
