Needing a pet/home sitter from Sept. 12 for 19 days. (return late on the 30th.).
The house is in Anacortes, WA. Halfway between Seattle and Vancouver, Canada. Anacortes is on Fidalgo Island and is the gateway to the San Juan Islands. The house faces the ocean and is 2 minutes from the ferry terminal. Anacortes is a town of 20,000 with shopping, restaurants and an active summer list of festivals, hiking, biking kayaking and events. Our house is a 10 minute drive from the cute downtown area with shopping and restaurants.
The house is a new (as of June, 2020) 3 bedroom, 3-1/2 bath 3200 sq. fr. house 410 feet above sealevel overlooking the San Juan Ferry landing. Faces northwest and gets great sunset views from the large patio, great room and guest room. House is comfortable, clean and very up to date. Great TV system, kitchen and a garage for your car. En suite bath for the guest bedroom with walk-in closet. Guest room and media room are both down one flight of stairs. Spa available if interested.
We have two cats, both aged 12, "Sev" and "Bella." Friendly but shy at first, indoor and love to be fed and petted. A cat door to the elevated patio is their only outdoor access. Responsibilities would be 2X a day feeding, distribution of nightime treats, and the inevitable cat box cleaning. You can leave for an overnight outing (San Juan Islands are beckoning!) and get away with one feeding per day one time per week, should you desire.
The house is a smoke free zone and we ask that it be kept that way during your stay. Sorry, but no children or other animals allowed during our absense. September won't be the best summer like conditions, but not cold and not too rainy.
