Our 1915 period restored a tastefully appointed Craftsman Bungalow is a great place to hang out in July to experience the Puget Sound and Pacific Northwest. Tacoma's Historic Proctor District is a walkable community, although we will leave you the keys for our Land Cruiser so that you can visit places like Mount Rainier, Seattle, and Gig Harbor. Walk up five houses to the popular Saturday Proctor Market, enjoy coffee at one of three coffee shops, eat breakfast at the Waffle Stop or Knapps, see a movie at the Blue Mouse Theatre (we will leave you free passes--we are part owners!), catch a fresh pint at Peaks and Pints, buy a new pair of running shoes at Fleet Feet, make a strike at Chalet Bowl, and shop at the Metropolitan Markey for an evening BBQ on the deck of our private backyard. Yes, all within walking distance. The Tacoma waterfront is even a walkable distance for those up for a 2-3 mile walk! Our hug-ga-doodle Labradoodle and buddha-like Malamut-mix are happy to show you around in exchange for a romp in the middle school field located five house away. In the evening, open a bottle of wine, and enjoy your favorite music coming from our built-in home stereo system or enjoy a movie in our media room. Let our vacation, be your vacation!
