We are going interstate to do a sit in New South Wales and are looking to find suitable carer/s for our home and six year old Himalayan female cat from 8 April 2019 for approx. 3 plus weeks (final return date available soon). We prefer mature aged (50 plus), experienced sitter/s who enjoy cats and duties associated thereto. The main responsibility will be caring for our girl ... keeping her food bowl topped up as she is a "grazer", clean litter tray and lots of love. We live on the northern outskirts of Brisbane (suburb Burpengary) not far from Sunshine Coast so surfing and still water beaches are all within easy reach. Ours is a comfortable, easy care family home with air-con, wifi & Netflex, lots of DVD's and books. We want someone who really enjoys cats as our girl needs daily brushing & grooming because of her long fur. She is also a tad timid of strangers at first and that is why we want sitter/s to arrive a day prior to our departure to give her time to adjust. Her name is Preeti which, in Hindi, means delight and joy!! She is an outdoor cat when someone is at home but must be put inside if you go out during the day and ALWAYS inside at night.
You'd also have to care for the house. Ours is an easy care comfortable, lived-in family home on one level with two bedrooms, a study, one bathroom with air con/heating. We have a "mower man" who takes care of the lawn. Garden requires little care. Treat our home with care and consideration. Brisbane is one of the most liveable cities in the world with wonderful climate and scenery so come and see for yourself and enjoy what this special part of the world has to offer. We ask for references from previous sits, prefer police check plus possibly talk via . It would be an advantage if sitters have car as public transport, apart from train to CBD, is not good.
We look forward to hearing from interested parties and OVERSEAS SITTERS ARE WELCOME.
