STAY COOL IN THE TROPICAL NORTH ???
Looking for a cat loving couple who love nature and living in a quiet street in a small village surrounded by rainforest , dairy farms and lovely walks along the creek, and around the local lakes..Wake to the sound of birds a stones throw away from coffee and craft shops, a heritage pub and the library, Bowling club, Post Office, Pharmacy, butcher, book shops and the local information centre is 5 minutes walk...Google Yungaburra and check out the tree kangaroos and platypus in the creek.
My cat is a lovely gentle tabby and strictly indoor variety, a 18 year old with the most beautiful blue eyes. The property is in a quiet cul de sac and backs onto a park which backs onto the bowls club, pharmacy, hair dressers cafes and centre of town. I would prefer non -smokers thankyou...and someone who is happy to water the garden and numerous pot plants that I love....The lawn will need a mow but I have a good mower and it takes less than an hour.
The 2 chooks lay eggs and are in a run during the day and coup at night.
The village has a Foodworks supermarket but to take advantage of exploring the area, a vehicle is advisable.
Yungaburra is 1 and a quarter hours from Cairns and a good though windy road. It can be accessed via Kuranda or the southern corridor near Gordonvale. All access roads are well maintained.
Dates are From
Yungaburra can be cool at night during the winter months but the days are usually lovely.
my home is warmed by a gas heater and is very comfortable..
