We hope to find a mature, responsible person or couple to look after our home and dogs while we are away on a road trip for a month. We have 2 small dogs, Lola is a 7.5 lb "Chaweenie" rescue from Tulum we brought back last January and Sophia a 14-lb mixed breed we brought back from Loreto, Baja 5 years ago. They are sweet and funny and active. The property is 5 acres in a small rural sub-division. It's on a gravel road. The house is very small 20' x 24' with a loft which is reached by the ladder (photo attached). There is a full basement where the laundry and sauna are but it is reached from the outside. There is no cable TV but there is Wi-fi. It's quiet country living about 20kms south of Courtenay/Comox where there are all the amenities, shopping, etc.
The dogs routine is up when you get up, outside and then breakfast (kibble), then a min walk around the neighbourhood. Usually a few play sessions during the day. Sophia loves to have a stick thrown and Lola likes to play tug-o-war with the sock. Dinner (kibble) around 4pm then a min walk. We take them up to the loft in the evening sometimes for more play or just hanging out with us.
