Rustic and remote North Wales cottage with fabulous views to Snowdonia National Park and distant view to the sea. Pets are welcome. We have no animals for you to look after, we just want the cottage lived in over the winter (approx. Dec to March).
Close to all the beaches of the Lleyn Peninsula and across the valley from the mountains of Snowdonia National Park, it would suit people that love the outdoors.
The cottage is on a Welsh hill farm, accessed on an uneven stone track. There is plenty of parking space when you reach the cottage. You will need your own vehicle. Porthmadog and Caernarfon are the nearest towns, 7 to 10 miles away.
The central heating is solid fuel and driven by a multi-fuel stove in the lounge, which provides the hot water too, however, there is an emersion for hot water aswell.
There is no internet access (although this is something we could consider connecting. We've just kept it as a detox, get away from it all location. There is 4G. There is a line but we have never had it connected). We have Sky freeview.
Our main priority is just to keep the cottage lived in. There are no pets to look after, but we'd love maintenance handy caretakers who would enjoy proactively spotting jobs that would benefit the cottage. We would like the garden looked after (nothing fancy, just cutting back) and possibly some decorating inside.
We would want non-smokers. We would envisage an agreement of no charge to you, but you covering utility bills and your living costs. We do have a cleaner if you want to employ her services. There are some additonal things we would like to discuss.
