About my house...
My house is separated internally into two separate apartments, both are listed on with 5* reviews.
I usually have 1 or 2 nights stays which means i need to clean/turn around the apartments most days, it usually takes me 1 hour for both floors (i am quick as i do it most days) i imagine it would take someone else up to 1.5 hours to clean and reset up the upper floor.
What I am looking for...
I am looking for a sitter to stay in the ground floor apartment at no charge in exchange for this turnaround/clean as often as needed during the stay in exchange for the free accommodation.
Where would you stay?
You would stay in the ground floor apartment which is suitable for 1 or 2 people and maintain the upper floor accommodation (they are totally separate and you never need to see/speak to the guests as there is a key safe.
What is involved?
Check out time for the guests upstairs is 10am, at which point i go in (much like a hotel) and clean/turn around the rooms so it is set up for the next guests.
This involves, emptying bins, washing and drying towels/bedding and remaking beds (plenty of spare linens so you can wash and dry at leisure), vacuuming and setting up a nice amenities tea/coffee tray.
Who is this house sit good for?
The ideal house sitter would need to arrive a few days prior to my trip in order for me to show you the set ups - if you are familiar with you will understand the rating system and the need for everywhere to be clean and neatly presented.
Allow 2 hours per day for these duties (they might not even be daily, you may only need to do 1 or 2 if there are longer staying guests upstairs).
How is the location?
The property is located in Chester, UK and Manchester or Liverpool are the nearest airports.
It is situated along a nice canal walking route just 12 minutes from the local train station and 10 minutes walk into the city, a supermarket 5 minutes walk and lovely canal side restaurants.
Chester is a historic city with lots to see and do.
This is ideal for a solo traveler or a retired couple.
It is essential you are clean and tidy and imperative you are a NON Smoker.
Previous experience in housekeeper or hospitality would be useful but not essential.
