We have a 11 year old Collie cross. She needs a walk (half an hour minimum but she won't complain at more) two or three times a day. She sleeps in the living room and we feed her twice a day.
She is a good natured dog but is strong when she wants to pull away (which isn't so often these days!).
We also have Larry the cat. Larry is about 5 years old and doesn't need much care other than feeding, clearing the litter tray and attention when he demands it!
Ladysmith is a small town on Vancouver Island. It is 20 minutes drive south of Nanaimo and 1.5 hours north of Victoria.
In addition to days out in those towns, or pottering along the towns and villages along the coast, there is lots to do in hiking, biking, sea kayaking etc around the area.
The house is a new detached modern home in a great location, 5 minutes drive from downtown Ladysmith. We are a five minute walk from the trails on the mountains behind and the deck has open views of the sea.
Tia and Larry are in good health, except Tia has a bit of arthritis.
