We live in a medieval village house in Issigeac which is just 20 minutes from Bergerac and the Bergerac airport. We are in the beautiful Dordogne area which is very picturesque with quaint villages and beautiful countryside. It is an excellent area for walking and it is also close to some of the world's most impressive prehistory sites – Lascaux and Font de gomme, for example. It is a wine area and there are countless wineries to visit – we also have many glorious chateaux and, of course, we are not far from the Dordogne river. Great for canoing in summer but still pretty in winter. We have three cats, Seamus, Riley and Dexter and they are all very different characters.
