Explore the experience of the senior life style in the largest and fastest growing retirement community (50+) in the world; at The Villages, Florida USA. The average home rental is about $3,500 per month. 120,000 seniors live in over 57 different and distinct villages sized from 51 to 200+ seniors on thousands of acres of land and still growing.
The primary means of transportation throughout the Villages is your golf cart (provided) giving access to everything one might need or want. This is a 9 room house with two full baths.
What Responsibilities are Required of the House Sitter?
We require a mature person or couple (non smoking) to care for our 5yr old, 68 lb. Friendly short haired hound dog, Rudy.
A. Rudy requires your attention 4 times daily.
a. Walk briefly in our yard. Give him breakfast between 7-8 am; dried dog food (provided) and change his water.
b. Around noon, brief walk in our yard, give him a treat and change his water.

Supper between 4 & 5 pm. Walk in yard, change water, dog treat. Dried dog food mixed with veg and or a little meat mixed in (provided). Change water.

d. Bedtime between pm. Walk in yard, change water. Dog-treat.
e. Random walk around village at your convenience.
B. Note: Noon walk may be skipped occasionally to accommodate your planned activity.
Housekeeping Responsibility
Clean up after yourself (s). dishwasher, washer/dryer, vacuum cleaner, broom, mop, are provided.
Pickup after dog (bags provided). Garbage pickup 2x weekly Tue & Fri. Recycling every Tue.
Gardener will cut lawn weekly: Thur or Fri. Lawn sprinkler will run Tue and Sat. Generator will run 10 min Sat 9 am.

Neighbors and villagers are very friendly and helpful. We will obtain a Villages Guest Pass for you which will entitle you to use all the facilities and services offered by The Villages

3 movies with 10 screens each. Many national and local restaurants both ethnic and chain:
American, Japanese, Chinese, Italian, Thai, Mexican, Greek, Vegetarian etc. 60+ swimming pools.
Over 410 holes of golf; free golf on all 9 hole courses. Will provide clubs if requested. Two thousand different clubs and activities serving multiple interests: computers, exercise, yoga, zumba, ceramics, dance, chess foreign languages, arts and crafts.
Free nightly live music and entertainment in each of the three town squares. A farmers market twice each week.
Discover Orlando, one hour drive away; use uber or lyft; see Disney World, Universal Studio, and other tourist destinations.
Essentially you have no rent to stay in one of the world's most beautiful and desirable, active and continually expanding retirement communitirs. In exchange for devoted care of a loving dog and normal housekeeping, including the daily newspaper, free WiFi, satellite TV, with surround sound, plus 4 TVs,
dishwasher, hot tub, golf cart,washing machine and dryer, iron, two to five minute gulf cart ride to some shopping and restaurants. Many others within 20 to30 minutes. You can walk to a town square for nightly live entertainment. NOTE: a is not provided bring a cell or we will help you get one here.
Tennis courts, boccie, badminton, archery, shuffle-board courts, swimming, pool tables, golf within 5 minutes.
Two live theaters that weekly have national and international entertainers, plays, dance groups etc. for varying charges.
