Our spacious, modern home sits on Graham Creek in Foley, Alabama. It's in a suburban setting, yet very convenient. It's 20 minutes from white sandy Gulf of Mexico beaches. The Tanger outlet mall, OWA entertainment zone and amusement park, great restaurants, groceries and a lot of shopping are less than 10 minutes away.
Watch sunsets and sunrises from the dock, furnished with table and chairs. Grab a kayak and paddle up the creek two miles through a nature preserve. Sit in the hot tub and watch dolphins in the bayou.
We have two kitties, Chipmunk and Jolie, who are easy to care for (dry food, no meds) and love attention. We also have a collection of tropical plants and orchids that need regular water. The grass doesn't grow terribly fast here, and is dormant from about October to May, so yard work isn't really necessary, though a leaf rake up for the front now and then is nice.
We would not be interested in sitters bringing their dog along, because our kitties have never met or seen a dog. But they do love their house sitters!
One thing, our neighborhood owners association does not allow an RV parked in the driveway, so if you have a trailer you must store it offsite while you are here.
