House sitter needed for roughly three weeks in December to care for two older Brussels Griffon dogs. There is plenty of good news with this assignment...
My home is situated in the woods on 10 acres just outside Columbia, Missouri. Town is accessible via a major highway so, you are just minutes away from the action. And, there is plenty of action in this progressive college town. The downtown is vibrant and there are many good restaurants. The holiday season will be bustling with every kind of event and show you can imagine. Or, you can snuggle in and enjoy my home, hot tub and art studio if you have that passion.
The other good news is that the pups you have to care for are sweet as can be. They are blind Brussels Griffon siblings and don't require walking because they have a dog door and fenced yard. They do require insulin shots and eye drops twice daily but are so used to getting them they are perfect patients. The shots are simple to give using very small needles.
Other benefits: I have a 4wd vehicle in case of snow. My son is an adjacent landowner so help is just up the road. Note: Unfortunately, due to allergies and the fact that other pets in their house make my old blind dogs anxious, I am not able to allow other pets in my home.
