We require a cat loving, physically fit single or couple to look after our house and precious cat while we are travelling this winter.
You will need to be non-smoker, and not have pets of your own since our cat is older and unused to other animals (or smokers). He is a long-haired Persian who will require daily brushing and although he sleeps a lot it is essential to have someone willing to dedicate lots of attention, love and time to him.
Our house is in a semi-rural area of Peachland, about 3km to the village for basics, and 12km to Westbank for shopping. You will need your own transportation. There are great neighbours close by though. The house is comfortable and we have all the usual services, cable, wifi, etc. The property boasts panoramic views of Okanagan Lake, and is centrally located for winter sports. Approx 85km to Big White, and 72km to Apex Mountain for skiing, and snowshoeing trails close by.
The main consideration regarding the house is snow removal. Our driveway is long and wide and you would need to be willing, and capable of operating our snow-blower and shovelling pathways/decks etc.
