We are looking for a responsible, tidy, non-smoking person/couple to sit our cat and house, who will invest their love and care into our acreage & cat as if it were their own. Leo is 13 years old neutered ginger cat, he loves his home and likes his stroll around the garden. He is very friendly and likes his cuddle sessions. He needs friendly company and feeding twice a day.
We would like you to take care of the cat and check if houses are ok, sending us an update by every week would be very much appreciated.
We live in rural Ireland on the Southwest coast of Ireland on an island, which is connected to the mainland by a bridge. It is a beautiful, safe and quiet spot with a temperate climate with coastal storms in the Winter.
Restored two storey farmhouse used as a holiday house located in a peaceful and quiet setting near Chapeltown and the Portmagee Channel. It has three bedrooms (one ensuite), living room, kitchen, guest toilet. Central-heating, wireless internet.
We are just 150 metres away from the pebble beach of the Portmagee channel, you can do long walks right there or walk the hills and mountains.
It is an artists paradise as there are mountain and seascapes at every turn.
For shopping needs the rural community of Cahersiveen offers clothing and shoe stores, an incredible hardware store and several award winning coffee shops, restaurants and two fabulous bakeries, two chemists and some great Irish pubs to meet local people. There is a library that keeps up with latest books and a super health food store. A really nice friendly town to visit while here.
We have local transport in our area which operates twice a day three days a week to and from Cahersiveen, our nearest town where you can do all your shopping.
There is a small shop on the island in Knightstown, 5 km away.
The length of the house-sit is around 100 days.
