We are looking for a housesitter to take care of our home whilst we are away for about a month. The main duties would involve checking the mail, watering the plants, mowing the grass. We are ideally situation near a big open park with pathways for walking around the local area. There's lots of birds in the area making it a pleasant environment. Upper Kedron is about 30 minutes from the City, with lots of local and interesting things to do and see, such as the Ferny Grove tramway museum, drives to Mt Nebo and Mt Glorius and Cedar Creek, Samford village, Ferny Hills Pool, and Ferny Hills Tennis Centre. It's a short drive to other suburbs such as Mitchelton, Everton Park, Enoggera, Alderley, The Gap, Ashgrove, and Arana Hills. We have a large 4 bedroom house with two separate living spaces (lounges), a pergola area with a dart board, three tv's (one with foxtel) and netflix. We have a space for a vehicle out the front. We currently don't have any pets having recently lost our dog. However we are looking at fostering a Great Dane (dog). So pet care may be required depending on what occurs between now and the end of the year.
