The Villages (yes, that's what's its name is), is located in central Florida just over an hour from Orlando (with its theme parks) and Tampa/St. Petersburg. Beautiful Gulf Coast and Atlantic beaches and multiple state parks are easily accessible. The Villages is one of the largest over 55 retirement communities in the US. Its amenities include a extensive array of golf courses, swimming pools, pickleball/tennis courts, bocce/shuffleboard courts and much more. Each evening there are musical concerts and dancing in each of the 3 town squares located within the community. In order to get around you will need your own car as there is no mass transportation available.
Our 3 bedroom house is located in a quiet neighborhood close to extensive shopping and restaurant opportunites. We have Wi-Fi and a large screen smart TV with Netflix and Prime. The house also has a very large screened-in patio for easy relaxation.
We have two cats one male 'Chico', very friendly; the other is female 'Mika', extremely shy. Both are young and in good health and are generally low maintenance.
