We require a responsible person/couple to look after our home and and garden from July 21 to August 5, 2024. Our home is located in the St. Mary Valley, which lies in the heart of the Rocky and Purcell Mountain ranges of B.C., Canada. We have 40 acres, within a 10 minute drive of the City of Kimberley, known as the Bavarian City of the Rockies. Most of our property is forested, except for landscaping around the house, so If you are looking for a wilderness haven for some peace and relaxation with lots of activities, this is the opportunity for you. Our property backs onto the Kimberley nature park which boasts 100s of kilometres of trails for mountain biking and hiking. In addition, golfing (6 fine courses), fishing, rafting, and boating are minutes away.
Kimberley Platzl boasts some of the finest restaurants and shops. Kimberley was recently voted the best small town in B.C.
Our house features include outdoor hot tub (winter only), stone fireplace, maple cabinets, maple and ceramic floors on the main floor, 3 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, loft with TV, a finished basement and wireless internet.
Since it will be spring, we will need someone who is able to care of our gardens and lawn. We have an automatic sprinkling system which has never let us down but someone with mechanical abilities would be helpful if a problem did occur.
