I am looking for pet/house sitter to care for two cats.
My female is almost totally an indoor kitty with minor medical needs. (She is allowed out, but doesn't stay out for long, or may just visit the garage. She needs a special diet and medication applied to her ear twice a day)
My male is totally independant, a neighborhood cat (I think he has several homes he visits daily, but at least one!)
Both cats are neutered and use litter boxes, although the male usually 'goes' elsewhere.
I live in Grand Junction, CO, which is thought by many to be the ‘outdoorsman’s paradise’. There are miles of both mountain biking and hiking trails, as well as 24 miles of ‘river trails’ across the valley, from Palisade to Fruita. Our scenery is beautiful! Road trips (or bike trips for those who have the stamina & strength) to the National Monument and the Grand Mesa (world’s largest mesa) start a half-hour from my front-door. Winter sports include skiing, both downhill (Powderhorn is 45 minutes away) and cross-country, snowshoeing, snowmobiling and ice fishing. Temperatures and snowfall vary from year to year, but the valley floor is usually fairly mild. I am within 41⁄2 hours of both Denver and Salt Lake, so within an hour or two of some amazing areas (Moab, Arches National Park, Canyonlands, Glenwood Springs, Aspen, Vail, etc.) My house is less than a 1/2 mile from a big beautiful park and the neighborhood High School. It's set off the main thorough road, in a quiet sub-division.
I have a large beautiful three bedroom home with sunroom/laundry, dining room, front room/living room, office, TV room, & garage. I am currently in flux with sorting through my beloved late husband's belongings (artwork, books, musical instruments, tools, & model train sets, to name just a few).
