WE have a lovely home located in Tarragindi with a deck backing on to bushland.

We are 10 km from the Brisbane CBD and close to bike ways.

We have 2 dogs, Kelpie and Golden Retriever, that require love and affection, this will be the longest we have ever left them and the first time with a stranger.

Pet Care:

1. Feeding:

   • Provide breakfast and dinner for both dogs.
   • Offer the occasional bone as a treat.

2. Medications:

   • Administer the golden retriever's medication during storms.

3. Walking and Exercise:

   • Take the dogs for daily walks, for example kangaroo point river loop walk and/or  exploration of the nearby bushland.
   • Ensure the Kelpie gets to visit the agility dog park.
   • Engage in playtime with ball chasing.
   • Maintain their indoor/outdoor routine.

4. Grooming:

   • Brush both dogs regularly.
   • Wash regularly.
   • Schedule and take them to the dog groomers as needed.

5. Health Monitoring:

   • Be aware of any health issues and contact the vet if problems arise.
   • Report any unusual behavior or changes in their health.

House Care:

1. Mail Collection:

   • Collect and organise mail regularly.

2. Lawn Maintenance:

   • Mow the lawn as needed.
   • collect and dispose of dog bowel movements

3. Garden Care:

   • Water the front garden if the weather is dry.
   • collect and dispose of dead palm fronds from footpath or yard and place in green bin for collection.

General Responsibilities:

1. Duration of Stay:

   • Commit to the full 64-day period or coordinate with interim helpers.

2. Communication:

   • Keep regular communication with the homeowners regarding the well-being of the dogs and any concerns.

3. Access and Restrictions:

   • Access the kitchen, lounge, downstairs bathroom, water closet, laundry, and dryer.
   • Understand that the front 2 rooms and garage are off-limits.
   • no other persons permitted to staywithout discussion with owners, no sub letting of permisses permitted.

4. Parking:

   • Park your car on the premises.

5. Available Resources:

   • Utilize high-speed wifi, gas water, and a gas stove top.
   • Access kitchen appliances, including a dishwasher and microwave.
   • Use the robo vacuum, standard vacuum, and mops to manage shedding fur.

6. Additional Information:

   • Take advantage of the nearby small supermarket and fruit shop within walking distance.
   • Explore the leafy suburb with trees, shared bike paths, and pedestrian paths.
