I live 30 minutes outside of Bozeman, Montana, and 45 minutes to an hour (depending on traffic) from two ski areas: Big Sky and Bridger Bowl. Cross country skiing is available nearby on many groomed trails. I am near snow mobile trails (rentals are available nearby) and trails exist in on the forest service land accessible from the house. I am only an hour and a half from Yellowstone Park where winter tours are available to see old faithful and the wildlife for which Montana is famous. The house is in a peaceful neighborhood sourounded by mountains up a hill for which your car will need winter tires. My animals here will need your care. There are horses on site with their mini donkey companion, as well as dogs. The dogs, an american farm collie and a sheltie, need regular walks and companionship. The house is a log cabin, both cozy and spacious. The river rock fireplace in the living room will be stocked with wood. My grown children are artists and musicians. There are easels, a piano, guitars, and a harp for your use. Once stocked with food, this is a perfect place for a retreat surrounded by outdoor winter activities, nature's beauty, art, music, my animals.
