Hello!
We are looking for person(s) who is available to house sit and take care of our two dogs between Saturday, 11/18 to Monday, 12/4. We are located in Los Angeles, California, 90033 and are looking someone local to our city. This is a paid house-sitting position, $100/day for 17 days.
You would be house sitting in a two-bedroom, 1 bathroom house with a small backyard. You would have your own room. There is a queen bed, washing & dryer machines, a bathroom with a full shower, and a kitchen with a brand-new fridge available for use. You’ll have your own closet and drawer space too. There’s also free wifi and a TV for you to access hundreds of streaming channels. There is a backyard with a BBQ and outdoor dining area. We welcome you to bring guests, but we ask that they do not stay overnight.
Across the street from us and in the vicinity is a high school, two parks, a hospital, and hotel. We live in a student community area, across the street from Keck USC hospital. There are restaurants (i.e. Chipotle, Poke Bowl, Dunkin’ Donuts), gym, and convenience stores nearby.
You would be caring for two 3-year-old dogs named Kimchi and Rambo. Kimchi is an 11lb cavapoochon who adores cuddles and hugs. He’s a pure lapdog who loves attention. Rambo is a 40lb Staffordshire bull terrier who loves to eat and play tug rope. Both our dogs love to play ball at the park!
We are looking for someone who is reliable, communicative, and a genuine dog lover. Someone preferably working from home and has their own transportation. We do not want our dogs to be home alone for more than 4-5 hours.
We ask that you walk the dogs separately to the park nearby.
Rambo would switch off between having a 30-45minute walk one day to running around catching balls on the other day. He would be off leash at the park while chasing balls, so we would ask that you feel comfortable having a dog off leash.
Kimchi, on the other hand, needs to be kept on leash at all times. He’s reactive to other dogs and easily distracted. He would need a minute walk every day with light throwing of the balls.
Other minor tasks would require to water two outdoor plants once per week, empty the potty tray and take the trash out Sunday evenings. Trash collection is Monday morning. We would also ask you to collect mail and place it in a bag for our return.
If you think you are the right person for the job, we would love to hear from you!
