Looking for a responsible house sitter to spend some time with a small, very cuddly small dog in Austin, TX from Nov 29 - Dec 9th, 2023. Mika is 8 years old, and absolutely loves attention and a good lap to sit in. He’s very chill most of the time, but isn’t good with dogs or other pets due to bad experiences after he lost his first owner, and he occasionally gets anxious in unfamiliar situations (the cure for which, in my experience, is to pet him for minutes.)
I’ve got a small, comfortable home with a big yard in a quiet neighborhood. I'm north east of downtown with easy access to multiple highways--most places around Austin take 15 minutes or less to get to. The wifi is great if you’re looking to work remotely.
You won’t be asked to do any yard work, plant care/maintenance, or any chores around the house other than picking up after yourself and keeping things clean. Mika needs at least one walk per day. Please keep his water and pet bowls filled, and otherwise, provide him with some attention and companionship.
