We are looking for a responsible and quiet cat sitter(s) for one cat from the morning of September 7- the afternoon September 23 in Penn Quarter, Washington D.C. We are looking for someone who can feed him twice a day, scoop litter, play with him a bit, and send us a text update daily. Our cat sleeps a lot and tends to stay pretty quiet, except when it is time to eat! We will miss the little guy! :)
We have a 850 sq ft condo with 1 bedroom, 1 bathroom (two beds, one queen and one king) in the lively heart of the city near many restaurants, three train stations, and the National Mall and some Smithsonian Museums all within a half mile. The location is in the middle of it all and has a roof pool and a gym. We have two work-from-home desks and high-speed WiFi available if needed.
No car is needed for this stay, and actually, it is best to not have one as public transit is amazing here. While there is a parking garage on site for a fee (about $20 most days) it is best to leave your car at the airport and take the train in for this stay, in my opinion. You can take the Silver Line from Dulles Airport or the Blue Line from Reagan Airport to get here.
It is important for us to meet you before we head out of town, so please ensure that you can arrive by 10 am on 9/7.
