Looking for a couple to look after my four cats and two dogs. Pepper (dog) is an outdoor dog, well most ot the time, I have a large walled garden, sometimes he likes to come in at night and sit with you watching the tv, only if its heavy rain or thunder. Scrappy (dog) is an adopted stray dog who is free to roam around the outside area of the house, she does not wander too far. They both walk together on their daily walk which usually takes about 15 minutes, the only walk of the day around 9am. Pepper is a little frightened of new people and is very nervous but he is a sweet boy and not aggressive. He is a large and quite powerful dog (9 years old) 30kgs. Scrappy is very cute and adorable (7 years old) 12kgs.
My house is built on stilts and the upstairs area is my area and I have purpose built rooms for the cats downstairs, although one cat is with my upstairs, she has leukemia (16 years old). The other three cats are downstairs in two rooms, one boy and one girl together and one boy on his own, they do not mix. The black female cat (sooty) is very affectionate and likes cuddles. They are all really low maintenance, as cats sleep most of the time anyway and they are all older cats 12 and 13 years.
They all get fed in the morning and again late afternoon. They do require a little attention everyday, cuddles and strokes usually no more than 30 minutes. They are cats and usually they will let you know when they do and don't want attenton!
I live on Koh Samui in Thailand, Namuang area. There are two waterfalls nearby and an elephant sanctuary just opposite, I see them everyday, it's magical. I live 10 minutes by car from the nearest town, Lamai, which has many bars, cafes and restaurants. The house is located in a quiet area and there are four other houses in the compound. My neighbors keep themselves to themselves but its nice knowing someone is close by if needed. There are two neighbors with big dogs however they are contained in walled gardens and never go for walks.
Pepper is a strong dog and therefore someone who is able to handled a large dog, as he can really pull on the lead if he sees another dog. He is always kept on the a lead and never ever gets off.
If you work online you must be able to commit to a few hours per day to give the attention to the animals, morning and evening.
