Hi,
I have a cottage in west boulder that I would like someone who is cat friendly to stay to feed her, let her inside/outside, and sleep overnight. The cottage has 2BR and 1BA. The main bedroom has a queen size bed.
The cottage is in a very desireable location-- near a very popular summer park next to Boulder creek. On the weekends, it is a popular park with daytime activity and will quiet down at night. It is a mile from downtown so you can walk most places. There also are trails right next to the cottage that lead to Flagstaff, Red Rock, Mount Sanitas, and Boulder Creek.
My cat Olive would love to have someone around at night, and she likes to go out during the day. It is important that she comes in 2 hours before sunset since there are predators in the area (coyotes, lions, etc). She knows her way around and will keep herself safe nearby. I can tell you where you can look for her and call her and she will run towards you (and she is easy to pick up).
Feeding:
Dry Food: 2x a day, and when she's hungry (usually from coming in from outdoors). She hasn't gained weight so she self regulates.
Wet Food: a couple forkful pieces a day. She doesn't eat much of it.
Water: in her bowl and there ususally is a glass on my desk.
Litter box: clean 1 every day or 2-- if she goes outside she prefers to use that and the litterbox can be clean one day.
