Hi – We are looking for a house and dog sitter for our home and 3 hypo-allergenic bichon dogs. We live in Southern California, a few miles inland from Oceanside (coastal town) in north San Diego County (SeaWorld, USS Midway Air Carrier Museum, Balboa Park, Seaport Village, Torrey Pines Reserve, La Jolla Village, Old Town, and summer concerts.) We’re located about 45 minutes north of San Diego center and all its attractions. Going north, we are about an hour to Orange County and 1 ¾ hours up to Los Angeles.
We have a large home on 1 acre with mountain views, a pool and casita, fenced gardens, and a tennis court, in a semi-rural setting with lots of trees. The home carer would have a large guest bedroom and private bath. Huge kitchen, living and family room. We’re close to the ocean, Oceanside harbor and pier, the Temecula Wine Country (about 40 wineries), hiking, and wonderful nature preserves around San Diego.
Our little town of Fallbrook is known as the “friendly village” and has a number of good places to eat, local wineries, and local stores. We have 3 rescued adult bichons - Robbie, Tucker and Toby - who are easy to care for, like to have lots of company, and love being in the garden during the day. It’s a quiet, rural environment with shopping and restaurants minutes away.
We are looking for a home carer and dog lovers for an 8 day period over New Years. There is a separate guest room and private bath for your use, or the Master Suite. We're fortunate to have a gardener that takes care of the garden, and pool maintenance person. Come enjoy the fantastic views of our local mountains, try local wine, visit all the attractions in San Diego, and keep the fur kids company!
