My husband Jim and I believe you would enjoy our home and Pucon. Pucon is a lively town of approximately 48,000 people. It has many restaurants, stores, banks, hospital etc. There are many hot spring (thermal) pools to choose from and outdoor activities. September 18th is Chile's Independence Day so there are 7+ days of festivities happening. Also, the rainy season slows down late August and Spring begins to make itself felt.
We live in a gated community with about 12 full-time residents. The other homes are vacation homes. It’s a quiet area. Pucon is 8km or 5 miles from our home (about a 20 minute drive). There is a grocery store, coffee shop, pet store, etc about 5 minutes from our home.
We have 4 dogs. 2 are Chilean street dogs who are in and out of the house. They do prefer sleeping outside in their doghouses. One is 18 yet is spry when she isn’t sleeping All are good dogs. They are fed twice a day. We supply dog food and will make surev they are up on their vaccinations. The yard is large with an electric dog fence.
Our house is heated by mini-split, radiant floors and wood stove. The wood stove is mainly for ambiance. We have a solar backed up generator. We have Fiber-optic Wi-Fi. We have solar panels and filtered water. We have 2 bedrooms with excellent mattresses and upstairs room for workouts/office space. Our kitchen is well-equipped. We don't have cable TV.

Of course we ask that you treat our home and dogs with care. We lean towards sitters who are non-smokers vaccinated,and present references and a photo. Also, a police check is always a huge plus. We can be reached throughout your stay via WhatsApp or .
