Sitters invited for longer sits on the beautiful island of Milos, Greece.
Retired dentist permanently living with his three dogs at an Estate on the island of Milos.
Estate is a large secluded beachfront property with several old buildings including two chapels.
Three busy vacation rentals during the summer months, maintenance work in between , owner frequently travels for 1-2 weeks each time during the winter months, but is almost always around in high season.
There is constant need for supervision of the premises ( leaks in the buildings and water system, intrusion of stray goats, infestation with ants or rats, etc.) , caring and cleaning after the dogs, and garden maintenance.
The place is impossible to lock up, thus in need of permanent presence, but there is no serious crime on the island.
Sitters accommodation is in one of the unused rentals , the Farm House, the Little Farm House, or the Boathouse , depending on the weather. During high season sitters will be staying in an independent, modest, but still comfortable small house.
Please give a clear indication of the amount of time you intend to devote to your sitting chores or any other skills you would like to engage in. (Our tools shed is well equipped for diverse DIY projects)
Also please let me know of any professional commitments or requirements, particularly those on a strict time schedule such as video conferencing, as WiFi performance may vary during the day.

A driving license (manual) is required.
As the estate is not close to public transportation, your own wheels might be very useful if you plan to fully explore this beautiful island, one of the top destinations in Greece. Otherwise, the area is great for swims and hikes in nature.
