My property is located uphill and only a 20 minute walk from the beaches and town center of Montezuma, a small hippie surf town on the tip of the Nicoya Peninsula on the Pacific side of Costa Rica. The property is in a quiet neighborhood, surrounded by nature, in a big garden with tropical plants and animals visiting daily.
You would stay in my 2-bedroom house, and daily water plants in the garden.
I am looking for someone who is respectful with my home, and who can keep the house clean and tidy.
I would prefer someone with Spanish skills, and previous experience in Costa Rica/Central America. Experienced house sitters with references preferred. You should be able to adapt to a new environment, and be comfortable with hot weather and the jungle. If you are scared of insects, this is not the right place for you.
There are no pets at my house, and I only accept housesitters without pets.
Also, no parties in the house please, and don't invite strangers into my home.
It's a beautiful place to get to know the area, with beaches, waterfalls, wildlife. March is still dry season here, so expect sunshine every day.
To get to the town (supermarket, restaurants,...) and beaches, you can either walk, take a taxi (5 USD) or ride the bus (every 2-3 hours).
