I am looking for a house sitter from late August to early October to look after my Pug aged 7 years taking her for short walks daily when its not hot and to feed my two short haired cats who both get along with the dog.Ashburton has a small suburban town feel but is only 20mins by train to city by either the Alamein line or the Glen Waverley line.The Ashburton strip of shops is very popular up on High St which is only short 15min walk and has great butchers and green grocers,lots of cafes and two wine bars and a few restaurants.There is a pool and gym complex just 15 mins walk as well.Just down the road is the Gardiners creek walk and about 4 sports ovals where you can let dogs off leash.I would love if someone could keep the garden alive and maintain the house in clean condition,as well as care for my fur babies.
