Hello,
My one-bedroom one-bath apartment is located in a green and safe suburb of Paris. There is a bus stop right down the building to reach the metro in about 15mn. Alternatively, you can walk to the train station and the train will take you to the heart of Paris in 20mn. The door-to-door time to go to Le Louvre is 35mn (I measured it because it's important to me!).
My birds live in a large cage in the living room, they are under an artificial white light that is scheduled to last 12 hours a day. They don't care much for our human schedule and will sleep no matter what you do in the evening.
You just have to change their water and refill their food recipients every 3 days, fill their bathtub from time to time, gives them some salad, so it's very light maintenance.
You also need to make sure you are not allergic to millet or other bird seed.
The kitchen opens to the living room and is fully equipped with microwave, Italian coffee machine, washing machine, dishwasher and glass ceramic plates. No dryer (we French people believe it damages our precious clothes!). There is a mobile AC unit you can turn on if necessary.
Wifi is at the highest speed possible using optic fiber connectivity from the most reliable national provider. There is even an Ethernet cable you can plug if you need extra speed. There is no TV, I stream everything online in HD.
There is a balcony large enough for sun bathing and breakfast time, if you are not afraid of heights. There is a beautiful view on the forest and a lot of hiking trails just at your doorstep.
The bedroom is separate from the living room and features a bubble spa in the adjacent bathroom. Everything is Parisian-like, designed for the maximum space efficiency in a tiny space. Do not expect a penthouse or a house in the wood!
Last summer a local petsitter I hired let my birds starve several times because she was too lazy to drive.
This year I would prefer a *non-local* and *non-smoking* person who comes to visit Paris and lives in the apartment for the entire duration and seriously takes care of the birds.
Any question just ask!
