Come to the North Fork of Long Island this Spring. We have 2 lovely cats who are gentle and sweet. Just give them food, water, and some company. We have a King size bed and a gourmet kitchen. You will be very comfortable here. Part of the care we need is also watering the garden. On the North Fork the roads are lined with farm stands, quaint downtowns, and more than 60 vineyards, breweries and distilleries that use locally grown ingredients. The area is known for oysters, fish and peconic bay scallops. Spring is a great time for bike riding and walking and the rocky shores of the Long Island Sound and the Peconic Bay are beautiful all year round. The North Fork is also a foodie destination. We have casual restaurants and fine dining that take advantage of locally grown produce and farm raised livestock. If you like to hike or bike Orient State Park at the very tip of the Island has trails for walking and hiking with scenic views from the top of the bluffs.
