Hello house sitters,
We are looking for a house sitter this winter who can take care of plants in and outside the house, and who can keep our home and garden well maintained and tidy. There might be snow in the winter, which would require keeping the (small) side walk in front of the house free for foot traffic. It doesn't snow often nor a lot here though. If you keep the outdoor water bowl filled, it will bring squirrels and birds (juncos, finches, blue jays, northern flicker, etc.) to the yard daily. You will also see cottontail bunnies hopping around. Our insurance requires our future house sitter to provide proof of renters insurance.
The house is located in the Denver metro area with various stores nearby. In the winter, it is advised to have a car for which we have a dedicated driveway where you can park. It is a four-minute drive to grocery stores like Sprouts, Target, King Soopers and Saveway, as well as a few minute drive or 20-min walk to Walmart. At a 2-min walk, you have a pizza take-out, thrift stores, and other retail.
Twenty minutes of driving will bring you at a variety of places to hike, including Green Mountain, Mount Falcon, Waterton Canyon etc. Even nearer to you, you will be able to hike in Chatfield State Park. Various shopping centers are at a 5 to 10-min driving distance.
Throughout our leave, we will be well available for any questions you might have.
Looking forward to hearing from you.
