WHAT RESPONSIBILITIES ARE REQUIRED OF THE HOUSESITTER
Overseeing care of home and garden and pets, making sure to give them plenty of love and affection.
Make sure all is kept clean and in working order, point out any house needs as soon as noticed and report anything that goes amiss to us or the staff. Housekeeper and Gardner/pool guy come in once a week.
WHAT ARE THE GOOD FEATURES OF THE PROPERTY AND LOCATION
The Island of Bequia is relatively undiscovered but beautiful and has a variety of small bars and restaurants, diving, snorkeling, hiking etc. The Villa is located on the hillside that overlooks the ocean, it is approximately 15 mins to the beach and 10 to the main town by car. We will allow use of our vehicle which you must also maintain and keep clean please.
The sit is actually for two separate villas, we live in one villa and traveling in May, June and part of July and our son and his wife live a few minutes away and would be traveling Aug and September. We have two dogs and our son and daughter in law have two dogs and a cat.
We like to travel separately so that we are on hand if the sitters need any help or advise for the other property.
.WHAT'S BEEN OFFERED
1. Both villas are located on the windwards side of the island which has wonderful breezes and amazing views. One property has rental accommodation downstairs which will not be in use during your stay and our staff will take care of this mainly. We would just like you to keep a check on this from time to time.
2. Full use of villas and the pool and BBQ area. We have a queen bed; our son has a king bed.
3. High speed WIFI, Cable T.V., electricity & as this is a long stay you will be expected to replenish the propane gas as required. (minimal cost).
4. A vehicle will also be available for you use.
We would prefer a non smoking mature couple that are comfortable with their own company, have island life experience and or be able to fix minor issues, of course also must have a love of animals.
