We live in a beautiful 3,000 square foot home overlooking the San Juan Islands. The master bedroom/bathroom is upstairs and there are 2 bedrooms downstairs as well as a second kitchen and full bathroom. Both levels have balconies and BBQs and a propane fire table. Housesitters sleep downstairs, live throughout the house.
It is fully air conditioned.
The ferry to the San Juan Islands departs one mile from our house.
Anacortes is a town of 20,000 people with outstanding seafood restaurants, pubs and a historic downtown with boutique shops, wine tasting, etc.
A car is advisable, but there is some public transit.
There are over 50 miles of forest trails within minutes of the house and 20 minutes aways is Deception Pass State Park (over a million visitors each year).
To care for....
We will have a 7 month old Keeshond by this time (born in late January). The dog will require food/water, putting her in the kennel at night and letting her out in the morning. The yard is fenced and we have a dog door from the house to the garage and another from the garage to the outside (self service).
Brief walks will also be important. Lots of loving. Keeshonds are very affectionate, family dogs.
There aren't many requirements with this housesitting deal, just taking care of the dog, putting out trash, picking up mail (or we can stop mail service)
Since this puppy hasn't been born yet (!), I'm attaching a photo of what a 7 month old Keeshond looks like. At full maturity, she will be approximately 30 lbs.
