Loving carer required for two ten year old Russian Blue cats. Very quiet living brother and sister, who follow the sun around the apartment. They are 100% inside cats, as we live in an apartment in one of Sydney’s newest suburbs – Wentworth Point. Wentworth Point is on the Parramatta River, close to Sydney's Olympic Park. We have just recently moved back to Sydney after being away for 4 years. They have settled into their new home very quickly.
I am looking for calm and responsible carer with an affinity with cats. I have family in both Melbourne and New Zealand, so I do travel (reasonably) regularly. I do prefer to have someone look after my fur-babies at home, rather than putting them into a cattery.
We live in a modern fully furnished two bedroom/two bathroom apartment, in a secure building in Wentworth Point. The apartment has a Master Bedroom with a Queen size bed; the second bedroom has a new double size Murphy/wallbed; lounge/dining room; a good sized balcony off the lounge. A full kitchen and a separate internal laundry. Secure car parking available if required. Good Wifi coverage.
Less than a 5 minute walk to Coles Supermarket, cafes, restaurants and shops at Wentworth Point. Sydney Olympic Park Ferry Wharf is at the end of our street, which goes to and from Parramatta and the City on a regular basis 7 days a week. We have incredible walking/cycling tracks along the Parramatta River and through various parks around Wentworth Point and Sydney Olympic Park.
We are a very easy 15 minute walk to Rhodes Shopping centre, which has several popular shops, i.e. Ikea, Kmart, Aldi and Woolworths. There are two Sydney City Blue Buses that go past the front door. One goes to Chatswood and the other to Burwood and travel via Rhodes. There is also a privately owned and run free shuttle bus service that goes every 15 minutes to and from Wentworth Point to Rhodes via the Bennelong Footbridge. The bus trip only takes 3-5 minutes to Rhodes train station. Rhodes train station is on the main North Shore train line, so gives us very easy access to the City, Chatswood, Hornsby or the Domestic/International airport.
