We are located in Martinique (French West Indies, an a french island in the center of the american continent).
We are looking for a house sitter this summer who can take care of our female dog Lettie, walk her once a day and keep our home and garden well maintained and tidy.
The two floors house, is located in a beautiful seaside village, 10 mn from Le Robert and Le François. Sea view, little garden with a few plants and flowers. A very calm and secure place, most of the time sunny and windy. Also we don't have much mosquitos. There is a beach less than 10 mn walk. There are many things to visit from here.
You will have a nice tastefully decorated room on the first floor, with your own bathroom and toilets, fan, airconditionning, TV, mosquito net, and also an equiped kitchen, a barbecue and deckchairs in the garden, beach umbrella, etc... A real paradise !
Le Robert is located in the east-central of the island is perfect to avoid traffic jams, go to the sea, visit the island (habitation Clément is at 12 mn by car, the airport is at 30 mn by car, the south is at 40 mn by car...). There is a drugstore and a bakery at 6 mn by car, 3 supermarkets between 10 to 12 mn by car.
We have Wifi and cable TV.
We are not concerned with seaweed odors so you can fully breath and enjoy the place !
Our dog Lettie is a one year old female, mix Labrador and Spitz nain. Very sweet, caring and dynamic (likes to walk) but calm (eventhough she likes to jump on people sometimes as a game). We started dog training so Lettie already obey a few words and doesn't bark at night (calm). She usually eats in late afternoon.
We have 2 land turtles named 7 et 8 (male and female) living and walking around in the garden. Just need to give them some vegetable twice a week.
We have a low maintenance garden.
We would appreciate if our house carer does care for the environment as much as we do. We practice composting, permaculture, we water the garden with rainwater...
