Hello! We are looking for someone (or a couple) to watch after our home and two lovely cats. It is also important that the person watching our home also love and care for plants, as we consider our plants to be part of the family (and a source of much beauty!). Our two cats are low-maintenance, well-mannered, loving sweethearts.
You will find peace and quiet in our Stockholm apartment. We are surrounded by apple orchards and the apartment is on a lake. On the large balcony you may find yourself sipping a cup of tea, reading a book, surrounded by plants, overlooking a gorgeous sunset and the small beach below.
The location is in greater Stockholm, 10 minutes by foot to the nearest train station, as well as the nearest bus stop. The train ride is about 25 minutes into the heart of the city (about 40 minutes, door-to-door, for most of Stockholm). The public transportation here is excellent!
The Apartment
The area is peaceful, safe, beautiful, set in nature with all of the necessities within a few minutes by foot. There are two grocery stores about 8-10 minutes by foot, a couple of bars, restaurants, while the busy life of Stockholm is only a short and convenient train ride away. You get the best of both worlds, nature and city!
Laundry is on-site, as is recycling and garbage. The wifi is excellent. There is an elevator in the building, as well. The apartment is on the 6th floor. The neighbors are all lovely, quiet, and calm.
The apartment is 2 rooms, 1 bedroom, living room/dining area, balcony, full kitchen, bathroom.
There are miles of hiking trails through the forests and around the waterfront! And you can enjoy a glass of wine or dinner at the local castle located through the forest on a walking trail that begins at the apartment.
Duties:
Cat care (feeding, clean water, changing litter, giving attention)
Plant care (daily, or near-daily watering of plants)
Maintain a clean space
Collect mail
