My husband and I are looking for a kind and caring person / couple to look after our two much-loved West Highland Terries. They are house dogs who are happy following you around, sleeping and having the occasional sniff in our nearby park and neighbourhood. One is diabetic and requires insulin injections which she is happy to have with a treat. She will even come to you when its time to have it. If you don’t have experience doing this we can show you and you will pick it up quickly and easily.
We live in a picturesque and diverse community. Albury and its sister city Wodonga are home to the Murray River and its waterways and Lake Hume, six times larger than Sydney Harbour. We have a number of walking and cycling tracks, including a beautiful one near by with the river on one side and a billabong full of wildlife on the other. We have parks, great coffee and a diversity of places to eat, farmers markets, cultural icons, theatre, contemporary museums including our newest art museum MAMA, linkages to our migrant history and our indigenous people. We are close to the mountains, ski fields including Falls Creek and Hotham, historical villages such as Beechworth and Bright, wine and food destinations including Rutherglen and Milawa.
We have a centrally located home with choice of living spaces. Our main home with three bedrooms, two bathrooms, two living areas and a large deck with views for miles of the surrounding hills and a self-contained one-bedroom apartment with a spa at its side door if you prefer a smaller space.
We can provide a car if needed.
We look forward to meeting new friends through this experience of sharing our home and fur family
