We are looking for a house sitter this summer who will look after our house and water our indoor plants and our small courtyard. We do not have any pets. Our historic house overlooks one of Savannah's beautiful squares. You are 20 mins from the beach at Tybee island. If it rains heavily we'd like you to put up flood barriers on our outside doors, and keep an eye out for water seeping in. In the (unlikely) event of a hurricane warning or evacuation we would like you to close the storm shutters on the house, and then return once the evacuation is lifted to make sure there is no damage. We will pay for a hotel during the time you need to evacuate. Further details to be discussed.
