Our home is a comfortable, renovated 4 bedroom Victorian terrace house in Waverley, in Sydney's Eastern Suburbs. The house is set over 3 levels with heating in every room. The third floor master bedroom has an en-suite with shower, and ocean views. We are close to many amenities - Bondi Junction (Westfield and train to the City) is a 15 min walk/5 minute bus ride. The local shopping precinct at Charing Cross is a 5-10 minute walk and has grocery stores, cafes, bakeries, pharmacy, restaurants etc. We are closest to Bronte beach (15 min walk) with Tamarama, Bondi and Clovelly beaches also close. Given the proximity of these amenities, a car is not essential.
Our TV is connected to Apple TV, Netflix, Stan and others, and we have fast NBN internet connection throughout the house. There is little required in terms of house maintenance - a couple of plants will need to be watered and the backyard raked occasionally.
We are looking for guests to stay in our home and care for Dizzy, our gorgeous Golden Cocker Spaniel puppy.
Dizzy will be 4.5 months old by the end of June. He loves a cuddle and is very playful. He sleeps through the night and is 90% toilet trained at this stage, with just the occasional wee in the house (we have floorboards, so easily wiped up). During the daytime, he needs to be let out at least every 3-4 hours to go to the toilet.
He is happily set up with his own crate and pen in the living area, meaning that he can be left unsupervised for periods while you go out/do work/attend to other things. He can also be left at home during the day for up to 3-4 hours. He needs to be taken for 2 x 5-10 min walks each day (on the leash). As he is still young he sleeps for large chunks of the day!
Considerations for this sitting job:
- It will suit either a retired individual/couple or someone able to work from home (due to Dizzy’s toilet break requirement)
- This is a great sitting job for dog lovers who enjoy puppies. He will need attention. He will need cleaning up after. And he will give you the best cuddles!
- Our home is set across 3 floors, so sitters must be able to manage the stairs.
