We're in need of a cat/house sitter for approximately 7 days beginning May 18 returning on the evening of the 24, 2023 We live in a two bedroom craftsman bungalow. Taysom the cat, is our pride & joy and loves people. He is chipped and has a pet door to restrict his going out at night. The door only reads Taysom's chip & he can come and go as he pleases from 5:30 am until 8:00 pm. He howls at first when his door locks, but it doesn't last but a few minutes. We added a friend for Taysom named George who doesn't go out, mostly because he's afraid, & we haven't programmed the pet door for his chip.
We live in Old Gretna, a short ride across the river from downtown New Orleans. More importantly, we live on a terrific street with nine restaurants/bars in walking distance. We are only six blocks from the mighty Mississippi River. Our area is considered the cleanest, safest part of the city. We have great neighbors & brother who is on the police force & the mayor lives across the street.
One of our daughters lives nearby if you have any problems.
