I live in college town in the heart of North Central Florida that has many of the amenities that a college town has to offer.. I am approximately an hour to an hour and a half from either Coast. Beautiful St Augustine directly to the East and the very charming fishing village of Cedar Key to the west. The historic town of Micanopy is about a twenty minute drive south with many antique shops. My house is located in the historic district with beautiful old houses within walking distance of the downtown that has many restaurants and cafes plus a theater. It is a great neighborhood for walking with three parks within an easy walk. My cat is happy to be outside all day but needs to come in at night and be fed twice a day. You won't be stuck here because my neighbors could be called upon to feed the cat on an occasion.
