We live in Dallas, a 15 minute walk to the beautiful White Rock lake recreational area. There are many hike and bike trails nearby and around the lake. We are a 15 minute walk/5 minute drive to public transit (light rail). Also 20 minutes from downtown, and conveniently located to many attractions in the city. The neighborhood is quiet and friendly, with a recreation center about a half mile from our house.
Our house is 3 bedroom, 2 bath, 1700 sq. ft. Roomy backyard great for bird-watching either on the patio or out the windows of our living room.
We are looking for a house-sitter to take care of our two black cats - both will be 2 years old in July. One is very friendly/snuggly, the other is more reserved and shy (but warms up after awhile). They are both calm and easy to care for. They need to be fed and given fresh water daily, and the litter boxes changed weekly. We are also looking for someone to care for our house and yard - keeping it clean and tidy. Yard work is mostly just mowing and edging. We also have indoor and outdoor plants that need watering weekly.
