My family is going to the USA for our wedding but unfortunately can't bring our first (dog) son with us.
About us:
Andrew and I are American who moved to Germany in We just had our first (human) son. And are enjoying the 1 year parental leave in Germany.
A little about our dog:
Sylvester is our French Bulldog who is 3 years old. We adopted him during Covid at 1.5 years old. He has some medical issues but is doing really well. He has food allegeries and skin allegeries so we have different types of medication that needs to take a couple times a day. He got a tumor on his heart from one of the medications and was having little ceasers a year ago. However he is did a 180 and is doing very well (vet says it is a miracle). We keep a close eye on him and take him to the vet 1x a month for check up. We just had the heart doctor check his heart and tumor and all is good. We live right at the base of the forrest outside the city and we go on many walks with him (before his tumor we would go for 20K with him) now we limit it to 5 to 10K max. But closer to 5K just to be safe.
With all this said, he is a great dog who loves people and keeping the pack together. He loves his walks in the woods and playing with his rope when you come home from being out. He is trained so that he can go over 10 hours without having any accidents in the house. He loves to sleep in bed with you and on the couch but will enjoy laying on his bed and relaxing.
About our house:
We live right next to 3 different tram lines that take you into the city center in 10 mins. We are the hill of the forrest that has many different trails and goes for miles. We love the location and our places. We have 2 bedroom and 1.5 baths with a southern facing balcony. Our building has an elevator (which we use for Sylvester because we don't want to over work his heart). We have some bikes that you could use also if you want.
Looking forward to meeting you on ours and your adventures.
