Our 2 indoor cats and their cozy bungalow home need a sitter for February. We are driving with our 2 dogs to California where we have rented a cottage for the month. Our house has a great little food market 1 block away, and a natural foods coop about 6 blocks east. Situated on a quiet street, there are numerous shops, restaurants, taverns, and entertainment venues within easy walking distances. The house is well insulated, with a brand new furnace. Your responsibilities would be minimal: keep 40 feet of sidewalk clear after snowfalls, feed and cuddle cats, and scoop clumps from their litter boxes. A 2008 Forester will be garaged on-site; it's use is negotiable, but would add a shared ( with the neighbor couple) responsibility to clear the common driveway if you decide you want to drive it.
The neighborhood is convenient for its bike paths and bus service. The house is comfortable for a couple, or a single sitter. There are Tvs in the living room and in the basement guest room/ office. WIFI and a Roku comprise the home entertainment. Kitchen has many appliances, utensils, and basic provisions.
