Come enjoy the beautiful Lake Arenal region of Costa Rica. We're in the mountains where temperatures are comfortably cooler than the coast, ranging Fahrenheit year-round. My home is just 45 minutes from the popular tourist town of La Fortuna, with hots springs, waterfalls, hanging bridges hikes, boat rides, etc. Only 10 minutes away is Nuevo Arenal, with excellent restaurants, grocery stores, pharmacies, and a lively expat gringo community. I'll be happy to connect you with hikers, pickleball & tennis players, and lake paddlers. It's a lovely area to spend 3-4 weeks and never run out of fun things to do! The house comes with 2 paddle boards you are welcome to use.
My home has a beautiful lake view, relaxing porch for outdoor living, 3 bedrooms, 2 1/2 baths, and plenty of creature comforts. Like most homes in this area, it has no A/C or heat, as neither is needed. Ceiling fans are all that's needed for comfort night and day. The home is very private, fully fenced, and is very well taken care of. I'm looking for someone who will watch over it, take day trips as they please but be home by dark, sleep here every night, and generally be responsibile custodians while we're away. Though Nuevo Arenal and Costa Rica in general are very safe places, break-ins do occur when homes are left unattended.
